A lightning-fast carbon MTB wheelset for those who need reliable wheels that are also incredibly fast out on the trails. This model is used in, among others, the top Danish MTB League in Denmark, where the wheels are subjected to everything, including rock gardens, jumps, drops, roots, and fast descents.
The standard setup for the wheels is as follows:
- Rim profile - i.e., rim height: 25mm
- Outer width: 33mm
- Inner width: 27mm
- Weight: Only approx. 1390 grams for the wheelset
- Sapim spokes and nipples
- Recommended tire width: 2.1"-2.7"

- You can choose the wheels with either Black DKBIKE logo (Standard) or White logo. If you want a White logo or no logo (surcharge of DKK 700), simply note this in the comment box when ordering
- We make the wheels for HG, MS, or XD - you must note which one you want in the comment field when ordering
- If you want something other than the standard above, simply specify it in the comment field - then the wheels will be built to exactly match your requirements. Note that there will be a total build and delivery time of approx. 4-6 weeks for these after your order
We recommend:
- DKBIKE MTB Carbon with 36T Ratchet hubs, 25mm profile. In our opinion, this is a wheelset that offers the best ratio between price, performance, and durability
Weight of the wheelset:
DKBIKE has had several of our road wheels and Gravel wheels tested - resulting in excellent ratings and reviews. Feltet.dk, Velomore, and Altomcykling have tested our wheels. All our wheels are built to be stiff, durable, and capable of handling most terrains. For the same reason, our road wheels can also handle gravel riding - proof that our wheels are extremely strong and durable.

Everything you should know about MTB
Which profile should we choose?
Our best-selling MTB wheelset features our 36T ratchet hub, 33mm profile (rim depth), 29mm external width, and 28mm internal width. A lightning-fast carbon MTB wheelset for those who need reliable wheels that are also incredibly fast out on the trails. How is the quality?
At DKBIKE, quality is crucial for us - we only sell carbon wheelsets of the highest quality and, of course, a quality we stand for 100%. We only use the very best carbon available on the market - Japanese Toray carbon. Within the industry, these carbon fibers are known as the absolute best and strongest, which is the reason why we also only use these. Our own DKBIKE hubs are also of the highest quality. The hubs are crucial for low rolling resistance and stability, which has also meant that we have selected our 2 best hubs that you can choose from: Hub with standard bearings and hub with ceramic bearings. Both hubs are top quality and roll great. The hub with ceramic bearings has the same durability as the hub with standard bearings. You will find the big difference in the rolling resistance, which is lower in the hub with ceramic bearings. With a price of Kr. NOK 6,995 for a carbon wheel set with ceramic bearings, it is our clear recommendation - it is quite simply the market leader.

Rachet hub 36T vs. 60T
In short, it is about how quickly the wheel should react when you pedal. More teeth (60T) provide a faster reaction, while fewer teeth (36T) are often more robust and produce a slightly quieter sound.
36T means 36 teeth:
Think of it as having 36 small points where the wheel can "grab hold".
When you start pedaling, the pedals must turn a small distance before one of the 36 teeth catches and makes the wheel turn.
The advantage is that these teeth are often a bit larger and stronger, so they can withstand a lot of wear.
It can feel a bit "slower" in reaction when you need to pedal again quickly after coasting.
The sound from the wheel when you are not pedaling is often a bit quieter.
60T means 60 teeth:
Here there are 60 small points where the wheel can "grab hold".
This means the wheel reacts faster when you start pedaling because there are more teeth closer together that can catch. The pedals need to turn a shorter distance.
This is especially good if you ride in difficult terrain where you often need to pedal quickly again after stopping.
The sound from the wheel when you are not pedaling is often a bit louder because the many small teeth slide past each other quickly.
