HOW TO USE

Thoroughly clean the entire driveline before applying fresh lube to ensure no old chain oil is present.

1: For best results, use Peaty's Foaming Drivetrain Degreaser or XXX Solvent Degreaser to remove tough factory greases in the case of brand new chains.

2: Be sure to rinse your chain thoroughly with clean water after using Degreaser (Degreaser is designed to remove chain oil after all).

3: Remove as much water as possible from the chain. For best results, use Peaty's PT17.

4: Shake the bottle well to distribute the secret ingredient.

5: Apply the lubricant while cycling the chain backwards making sure each link is adequately covered.

6: Continue cycling the chain for about 10 seconds to help the lubricant penetrate the chain.

7: Thoroughly wipe all excess lubricant off your chain with a clean cloth (excess oil on the outside of the chain will attract dust in dry weather).

📝 TIPS For wet weather conditions, leave a small amount of lubricant on the outside of the chain for longer lasting protection. On first use with recycled chains, you may find that your chain turns black - this is LinkLube, driving dirt out from deep within your chain. Just keep riding, degreasing, lube and repeat until your chain runs sparkling clean again!
