HOW TO USE

Clean the entire drivetrain thoroughly before applying fresh lubricant to ensure there is no old chain oil present.

1: For best results, use Peaty's Foaming Drivetrain Degreaser or XXX Solvent Degreaser to remove stubborn factory greases in the case of brand new chains.

2: Be sure to rinse your chain thoroughly with clean water after using Degreaser (Degreaser is, after all, designed to remove chain oil).

3: Remove as much water as possible from the chain. For best results, use Peaty's PT17.

4: Shake the bottle well to distribute the secret ingredient.

5: Apply the lubricant while cycling the chain backwards, ensuring each link is adequately covered.

6: Continue cycling the chain for approximately 10 seconds to help the lubricant penetrate the chain.

7: Thoroughly wipe off all excess lubricant from your chain with a clean cloth (excess oil on the outside of the chain will attract dust in dry weather).

📝 TIPS For wet weather conditions, leave a small amount of lubricant on the outside of the chain for longer-lasting protection. When first used with recycled chains, you may find that your chain turns black - this is the LinkLube driving out grime from deep within your chain. Just keep riding, degreasing, lubing, and repeating until your chain runs sparkling clean again!
