DKBIKE carbon wheel set for rim brake - UCI Approved wheels
UCI approved carbon bicycle wheels. You have the option of choosing our DKBIKE hub with standard bearings, DKBIKE hub with ceramic bearings, as well as with DT Swiss 350 and DT Swiss 240 hubs.
You can choose from the following items:
- Profile of the rim - i.e. the height of the rim
- Outer width of the rim, which is important for how wide tires you can drive
- Hub - here you can choose between 2 DKBIKE hubs and 2 DT Swiss hubs
This wheelset has several unmatched qualities found only in absolute high-end wheels. In addition to the 900-day warranty on the rim, the following is a selection of the many strengths of the wheels.
Remember to order brake pads that are intended for carbon wheels. We recommend SwissStop .
Weight of the wheelset and recommended tire width
Weight for the wheels (Approx. weight - small deviations may occur of +/-30g) - respectively 25mm for the profiles 38mm, 50mm and 60mm and 27mm outer width rims for the 88mm profile. If you wish otherwise, a construction and delivery time of 4-6 weeks must be expected.

Great result where special performance is praised to the skies, including how well they roll and how stiff the rims are (= maximum power transfer). Which profile should we choose?
Recommending a rim height, rim width and hub is difficult as it depends on what you will use the wheels for, i.e. what terrain they are to be used in, type of rider, etc. If you ride primarily in Denmark, however, we would recommend 50mm rim height, 25mm outer width and DKBIKE hub with ceramic bearings. With that wheel set, you achieve good aerodynamics without being overly sensitive to wind (primarily side wind/headwind), nice aesthetic expression on your bike, 25mm outer width which means you can ride with tires between 23-28mm wide (most common width for country roads ) and not least DKBIKE hub with ceramic bearings that quite simply roll absolutely and absolutely fantastic. Here you get an absolutely fantastic Price/Value ratio.

What is the difference between ratchet and ceramic bearings?
The difference lies i.a. in the number of contact points between the cassette housing and the hub itself. In the Ratchet hub there are 36 against 6 in the hub with ceramic bearings. This means that the Ratchet hub is more durable and is really easy to clean and generally maintain. If you are mostly looking for a high-performance hub, ceramic bearings are slightly easier to roll.

Within the industry, these carbon fibers are known as the absolute best and strongest, which is the reason why we also only use these.

The hubs are crucial for low rolling resistance and stability, which has also meant that we have selected our 2 best hubs that you can choose from: Hub with standard bearings and hub with ceramic bearings.
Both hubs are top quality and roll great.
The hub with ceramic bearings has the same durability as the hub with standard bearings.
You will find the big difference in the rolling resistance, which is lower in the hub with ceramic bearings. With a price of Kr. NOK 6,995 for a carbon wheelset with ceramic bearings, it is our clear recommendation - it is quite simply the market leader.

Tak til DKBIKE for en superfin oplevelse og service ved køb af Road. Road køre fremragende og er en kæmpe forskel i forhold til de gamle alu hjul. Kan kun anbefales og prisen er bare skarp👍. Jeg vil varmt anbefale DKBIKE
Jeg har købt DK Bike 50mm Road Carbon hjul med Ratchet Nav og Pirelli PZero dæk på anbefaling af DKBike. Det har været en super oplevelse fra guide omkring køb og den første måneds tid på landevejen.
Den ældre cykel har fået nyt liv og kører klart bedre end før hjulskift.
Virkelig super service og produkt som klart kan anbefales.
Bestilte carbonhjul til fælgbremse toppet med tubeless conti 5000 dæk 28 mm. Fik rabat på en opgradering til keramiske lejer og hurtig levering. Hjulene ruller som en drøm.
Jeg har købt DKBIKE Road - Carbon fælgbremse hjulsæt, 50mm med Ratchet nav. Et godt køb til prisen. Tak for god service i butikken.
