Description
DKBIKE All-Road - Reviewer-rated wheels - tested by Altomcykling - read the test here .
If you have a bicycle that you use for both country roads and gravel - a so-called "All-Road" bicycle - you can make do with a set of wheels with these wheels, as the inner width of the rim means that you can ride with tire sizes between 25-42mm. That is you can use the wheels both when driving on country roads with the usual tire widths such as 25 or 28mm road tires as well as you can use the wheels with the wide gravel tires as 35, 40 or even 42mm wide tires. In other words, it is a very versatile wheel set that you can use for the vast majority of purposes.
Despite the large internal width, it has not gone beyond the weight of the wheels. On the contrary, we have managed to change the structure of the rim so that they are a bit lighter than our "normal" 50mm disc brake wheelset.
DKBIKE carbon bicycle wheel for disc brakes (Disc brakes). You have the option of choosing our DKBIKE hub with standard bearings, DKBIKE hub with ceramic bearings or Ratchet hub.
You can choose from the following options:
- Profile of the rim - i.e. the height of the rim - Our DKBIKE All-Road is available in 38mm and 50mm profile. Read any more about choosing a profile here
- Hub - here you can choose from 3 DKBIKE hubs: Standard hub, hub with ceramic bearings and Ratchet hub
- If you ride with SRAM 12-speed, simply write that you want the wheelset with a cassette housing for 12-speed when ordering in the comment box - then we will build it so you can ride with your 12-speed gear group
- You can choose the wheels with Black DKBIKE logo (Standard), White logo or in "Stealth look", i.e. without DKBIKE logo. If you want a white logo or no logo, simply note it in the comments box when ordering
- The standard finish is a matte look - we usually have these in stock for immediate delivery with the bearings with ceramic bearings and the ratchet hub. However, we can also make them in a shiny version as well as the same look as our DKBIKE Wave wheels in the shiny marble look. If you want something other than the standard, you just have to state it in the comment field. Please note that there will be a total construction and delivery time of approx. 4-6 weeks on these after your order
We recommend:
- DKBIKE All-Road with ceramic bearings: The best rolling wheelset where you get unrivaled performance. The most common profile is 50mm - then 38mm
- DKBIKE All-Road with Ratchet hub: Our most durable hub that also rolls fantastically. The most common profile is 50mm - then 38mm
Weight of the wheelset:
See table further down the page with further specifications on the wheels - including recommended tire widths.
DKBIKE has tested several of our wheels - with excellent marks and reviews as a result. Feltet.dk, Velomore and Altomcykling have tested our wheels. All our wheels are built so that they are rigid, durable and can withstand most terrains. For the same reason, our road wheels can also handle gravel - proof that our wheels are extremely strong and durable.
If you want DT Swiss hubs or in the shiny look, we build the wheels to your order. Therefore, there is a delivery time of approx. 6 weeks. We hurry everything we can - fortunately, good things are worth waiting for.

Everything you should know about DKBIKE All-Road
Profile and tire width?
The choice of rim height and hub depends on what you will use the wheels for, i.e. what terrain they are to be used in, type of rider, etc. If you ride primarily in Denmark, however, we would recommend you go for profiles between 38-50mm rim height with DKBIKE hubs with ceramic bearings or ratchet hubs. With that wheel set, you achieve good aerodynamics without being overly sensitive to wind (mainly crosswinds/headwinds). Our DKBIKE All-Road has an incredibly nice "clean" aesthetic expression and will adorn any bike - including your bike. 27mm external width which means you can ride with tires between 25-42mm wide and not least DKBIKE hub which quite simply rolls completely and utterly fantastic. Here you get an unrivaled Price/Value ratio. A carbon wheelset with our hub with ceramic bearings or Ratchet hub in this super aerodynamic design for Kr. NOK 6,995 is quite simply spectacular and unique - and you can be sure that you have a wheel set that stands out from the crowd - visually as well as in terms of performance.

- When you receive your wheels, the following is included: Rim tape - which must be used regardless of whether you ride with tubes or tubeless - and extra spokes
- Max. weight: (System weight): 130kg
- Our wheels are both for Clincher (Tyre/Tube) and Tubeless; i.e. you have the opportunity to try out the solution that suits you best
Ceramic bearings or Ratchet hub
The difference lies i.a. in the number of contact points between the cassette housing and the hub itself.
In the Ratchet hub there are 36 contact points while there are 6 pawls in the hub with ceramic bearings.
This means that the Ratchet hub is more durable and is really easy to clean and generally maintain.
If you are mostly looking for a high-performance hub, ceramic bearings are slightly easier to roll.
For most people, we recommend the Ratchet hub as it rolls close to the hub with ceramic bearings and also has a "plus" in wear resistance and maintenance.
However, both hubs are completely fantastic - and regardless of your choice, will give you many fantastic trips

How is the quality - read the tests here
900 day guarantee - We are proud and happy about our high quality
At DKBIKE, quality is crucial for us - we only sell carbon wheelsets of the highest quality and, of course, a quality we stand for 100%. We only use the very best carbon available on the market - Japanese Toray carbon. Within the industry, these carbon fibers are known as the absolute best and strongest, which is the reason why we also only use these. Our own DKBIKE hubs are also of the highest quality. The hubs are crucial for a low rolling resistance and stability, which has also meant that we have selected our 3 best hubs that you can choose from: Hub with standard bearings, hub with ceramic bearings and our Ratchet hub. All 3 hubs are top quality and roll great. The hub with ceramic bearings has the same durability as the hub with standard bearings, while the Ratchet hub is slightly more durable. You will find the big difference in the rolling resistance, which is lower in the hub with ceramic bearings. With a price of Kr. NOK 7,995 for a DKBIKE Wave carbon wheelset with ceramic bearings or Ratchet hub, it is our clear recommendation - it is quite simply the market leader.
