SHIMANO ULTEGRA Cassette CS-R8101 - 12 Speed

The newest 12-speed cassette from Shimano in the Ultegra series, which is the series just below the top-of-the-line Dura-Ace and above the 105 series. The cassette is made for the Shimano Spline system, which creates a larger contact surface between the cassette and the freehub body for better power transfer. They are therefore developed for the new Spline, but can also be used on the well-known Shimano HG freehub body.

Unlike the 11-speed cassettes from Shimano, you get smoother gear ratios, and especially the gears Shimano calls the "sweet spot gears" have smaller jumps between them. In addition, the profile of the teeth is different than before, which ensures more consistent shifting even under high load.

Choose between 11-30 or 11-34 gearing.
