Shimano R7100/HG710 105 Cassette 12-Speed

The Shimano 105 series is known as the "workhorse" among Shimano's groupsets. Their series is incredibly durable and hard-wearing - in short, a safe choice for everyone.

Shimano 105 R7100 12-speed cassette. If you ride 11-speed, you should choose an 11-speed cassette instead.

From Shimano's new 105 R7100 series, which takes almost everything the best from the Ultegra series but is more affordable. The cassette is made for Shimano's new Spline system, which creates a larger contact surface between the cassette and the freehub body for better power transfer. They are therefore developed for the new Spline.

Unlike Shimano's 11-speed cassettes, you get a smoother gear ratio, and especially the gears Shimano calls the "sweet spot gears" have smaller jumps between them. In addition, the tooth profile is different from before, which ensures more consistent shifting even under high load.

It is recommended to replace the chain at the same time as replacing the cassette.
