The Pirelli P Zero Race (Tubeless Ready) tire is created for racing and can be used with both a tube or tubeless setup. The tire is designed to perform on race day with minimal tread and a rubber compound that performs well on both dry and wet roads. Comfort has been replaced by speed, and the tire is light, ultra-fast and equipped with Pirelli's TechWALL+ protection. This protection helps minimize weight gain and helps resist punctures as well as keeping fluid and air inside in a tubeless environment.

TechWALL Protection:

TechWALL and TechWALL+ are minimal puncture protection technologies and should not be confused with puncture-free tires. TechWALL is the protection that Pirelli integrates into their tubeless tires to ensure an airtight setup while offering some degree of puncture protection. TechWALL+ adds an additional, lightweight canvas puncture protection at 15 grams for added safety.
