DKBIKE Road - Our reviewer-acclaimed wheels: Absolutely fantastic well-performing wheels, with their stiffness, responsiveness and not least, easy-running and durable hubs. You have the option of choosing our DKBIKE hub with standard bearings, DKBIKE hub with ceramic bearings, DKBIKE Ratchet hub and with DT Swiss 350 and DT Swiss 240 hubs.
You can choose from the following items:
- Profile of the rim - i.e. the height of the rim: 38mm, 50mm, 60mm, 82mm
- Hub - here you can choose between 3 DKBIKE hubs and 2 DT Swiss hubs
- You can choose the wheels with Black DKBIKE logo (Standard), White logo or in "Stealth look", i.e. without DKBIKE logo. If you want a white logo or no logo, simply note it in the comments box when ordering
- The standard finish is a matte look - we usually have these in stock for immediate delivery with the bearings with ceramic bearings and the ratchet hub. However, we can also make them in a shiny version as well as the same look as our DKBIKE Wave wheels in the shiny marble look. If you want something other than the standard, you just have to state it in the comment field. Please note that there will be a total construction and delivery time of approx. 4-6 weeks on these after your order

All our wheels are built so that they are rigid, durable and can withstand most terrains. For the same reason, our road wheels can also handle gravel - proof that our wheels are extremely strong and durable.
If you want DT Swiss hubs or in the shiny look, we build the wheels to your order. Therefore, there is a delivery time of approx. 6 weeks. We hurry everything we can - fortunately, good things are worth waiting for.

Profile and tire width?
The choice of rim height and hub depends on what you will use the wheels for, i.e. what terrain they will be used in, type of rider, etc. If you ride primarily in Denmark, we would however recommend that you go for profiles between 38-60mm rim height with DKBIKE hubs with ceramic bearings or ratchet hubs. With that wheel set, you achieve good aerodynamics without being overly sensitive to wind (mainly crosswinds/headwinds). Our DKBIKE Road has an incredibly nice "clean" aesthetic expression and will adorn any bike - including your bike. 27mm external width which means you can ride with tires between 25-32mm wide and not least DKBIKE hub which quite simply rolls completely and utterly fantastic. Here you get an unrivaled Price/Value ratio. A carbon wheelset with our hub with ceramic bearings or Ratchet hub in this super aerodynamic design for Kr. Ceramic bearings or Ratchet hub
The difference lies i.a. in the number of contact points between the cassette housing and the hub itself.
In the Ratchet hub there are 36 contact points while there are 6 pawls in the hub with ceramic bearings.
This means that the Ratchet hub is more durable and is really easy to clean and generally maintain.
If you are mostly looking for a high-performance hub, ceramic bearings are slightly easier to roll.
For most people, we recommend the Ratchet hub as it rolls close to the hub with ceramic bearings and also has a "plus" in wear resistance and maintenance.
However, both hubs are completely fantastic - and regardless of your choice, will give you many fantastic trips

Efter at have holdt pause fra landevejen nogle år pga dårlig knæ er jeg begyndt igen og har derfor valgt en cykel med mere komfort og en gearing der passer til en frisk start.
Jeg har haft racercykler i 50 år og før cyklet ret meget.
En lille belønning for at tabe ti kilo skulle være at finde et par ok hjul og valget var på et sæt 50 mm road med rachet nav og grand prix dæk.
Min erfaring fra gamle dage med høje fælge var meget at de var fede på nær i sidevind 😱
Derfor valgte jeg kun 50 mm så jeg kunne få en god oplevelse også når det blæser.
Men disse hjul med 28 mm dæk har absolut ingen problemer selv i ti s/m sidevind..
De løber stabilt og er utrolig komfortabel men også kontant når man cykler 800w op af en lille bakke..
I forhold til de standard hjul der var med til min cykel og et par rubino dæk er min gennemsnitlige fart steget med et par km/t og fornøjelsen er mærkbar større.
Nu har jeg rundet 1000 km på dem og jeg kan kun anbefale dem til andre der ikke ønsker at sætte en mindre formue i deres hobby..

Fantastisk upgrade hvad gælder både service og hjælp i showroom’et, performance på landevejen (kan ikke sammenlignes med alu), prisen og ikke mindst… de ser pisse lirens ud og de keramiske lejer summer bare røv lækkert
Købte for en måneds tid siden, disse 50mm dkbike carbonhjulsæt. Jeg har nu kørt 5-600km på dem og de kører fantastisk. Jeg er super tilfreds - især når man tænker på prisen. 👍🏻
