Do the wheels fit my Rynkeby bike?
Yes, it fits all Team Rynkeby bikes with disc brakes
What are the specifications for the wheels?
The DKBIKE Wave anniversary wheels for Team Rynkeby feature the ratchet hub with ceramic bearings. The ratchet hub is highly durable and very easy to clean and maintain in general.
Ceramic bearings roll exceptionally well, which you will notice over the many kilometers you have ahead of you.
Do I get anything "extra" by buying the Team Rynkeby edition?
Yes, we support Team Rynkeby with 500 DKK or your personal "My-Collection" with 500 DKK when you purchase a wheelset.

Can I feel a difference in speed or comfort as a new rider?
Yes, you can.
Comfort
Comfort comes when you ride with wider tires and lower tire pressure, which reduces vibrations and shaking, while you will also experience fewer punctures.
Speed
The wave profile makes the wheels more aerodynamic, and the increased stiffness provides more direct and efficient power transfer = more speed.
Can I use them for both training and the trip to Paris itself?
Yes, use the wheels for training and for the big final ride.
Do I need a chainguard?
We recommend it. It protects your bike frame and prevents a lot of ugly scratches and nicks if you are unlucky enough to have your chain jump off.
Do you install the equipment I purchase with the wheels? And what is rim tape?
Yes, when you purchase equipment with the wheels, we are happy to install it at no extra cost.
Rim tape is included and must be installed regardless of whether you are running a tube or tubeless setup - we can install this as well. Simply note it in the comment field in the "Shopping Cart".
We offer a "Plug'n'Play" solution where we install all the equipment you have purchased, so all you need to do is mount the wheels on your bike once you receive the wheelset.

When will I receive my new wheels?
You should expect to receive your new wheels about 5 weeks after ordering - that way, you can mount them on your new bike.
Should I pay now?
You must pay 50% of the order price upon ordering. The remaining 50% will be charged when the wheelset is shipped to you.
Example;
If you have ordered a wheelset for DKK 8,995, you authorize DKBIKE to charge the full amount. We will charge 50% on the day you order and 50% when the wheels are shipped to you.
